Mindful Art & Creative Play Sessions
with FairKind Child
FairKind Art Club is a nurturing art & craft group which meets once a month for parents & children of all ages. With guided art projects for parents and creative free play for little ones, our art club is perfectly suited for families who love getting creative and exploring different ways of making art.
Hosted by Trish, a practising artist and owner of FairKind Child, this art club brings together her joy in creativity, love of nature and passion for play.
We meet once a month during term time, on Mondays 9:30am – 11:30am.

What happens at FairKind Art Club?
The class is set in Trish’s home in Horsham and is designed to be relaxed and free flowing for the children to move between the art activity table and the free play area set up with a selection of our natural, open ended toys.
We start each class with a healthy sugar free snack and a chance to catch up with each other and discuss our plans for the art club session. Each family is asked to bring some fruit to share with the rest of the group.
Weather permitting, we then take a short walk through the communal gardens & woodland outside, to gather some natural materials for use in our art projects, before we come back to the art room to start our creative play session.
The children will be invited to use their found nature materials in the art activity set up for the session. Once settled into their own activity, the parents/guardians will then be invited to join in a guided craft activity while they observe their children play & explore. This will be a positive, supportive environment to encourage self expression and help to build confidence in talking about creativity.
We are committed to using only high quality, non toxic & environmentally safe art materials, to honour our sustainable & waste conscious values as a FairKind business. Many of our art materials come from local craft company, Tiny Land, who produce plant based paints & crafts which are fully baby & allergy safe and tested to toy safety standards. We’ve also sourced 100% wool felt and organic fabrics to use in our some of our creative projects, alongside the materials we will source together from nature.
Who can join the FairKind Art Club?
Our Art Club children’s activities are generally aimed for 2-5 year olds, but we welcome all ages as well as older home educated children, as the projects can be tailored to suit most ages & abilities. Older children will be welcome to join in the guided art project with the adults if they wish.
Our session’s are best suited to children & parents who have an interest in art, for parents who wish to indulge in a concentrated and guided art project and for children who enjoy the opportunity for self expression.
